My best concert

The best concert I've attended was Green Day back in 2010, in Bicentenario de La Florida stadium. I went with some childhood friends. We arrived at around 9 in the morning, the doors opened at 4 pm so we had to wait the entire day. We met many fans and we chatted a lot as we waited.

The band started at around 9 pm and they played for over three hours. It's the longest gig I've attended and it was unforgettable. Billie Joe (vocals and main guitar) is an incredible showman, he jumped and screamed the entire concert; he had even more energy than us, the crowd. They played songs from their entire disocgraphy: both new hits and old time anthems, and everyone sang along. After the 31st song, the band left the stage and Billie began a more acoustic set where he played more introspective songs. It gives me goosebumps to remember everyone in the stadium singing "Good Riddance" (the last song) even to this day.

After the concert, I was beyond exhaustion, but it still remains as one of the best experiences of my life.

A country I'd like to visit

Mongolia has been in my bucket list for quite a while. I think the climate is very unique: a mixture of snow and blizzards within the Gobi Desert. Winter can be very harsh, and during spring rivers flow and irrigate the valleys that people use to feed their animals. That seasonal contrast seems very fascinating to me.

One of the traditions of mongolian people is singing. In particular, throat singing (you can see a video here). It has an unique feeling as it sounds very different to what we're used to, and mongolian language is distinct from western languages as well.

If I ever visit the country, I'd like to spend a few months there. To get to know their fascinating culture and to experience the contrast between summer and winter. Also, I've read that Mongolia is facing several issues related to global warming, melting of the snow, etc., so in a more professional sense, it can be very helpful to work there and try to help them out.
