Movies I like

I'm not a big fan of movies. Not because I don't like them, but because I don't find myself with the time to watch movies "just because".

However, there are some genres and franchises that have caught my attention. First, I have a big respect for children movies, as I think the good ones present interesting and serious topics as they also show colours and funny things in order to get kids' attention. Wall-E for instance, a love story of two robots on a post-apocalyptic Earth. The story is told through music and gibberish noises, instead of unnecesary dialogues and meaningless movie clichés.

Rugrats: The Movie is also an all-time favourite. It's based on the popular TV-series, and the plot surrounds the adventures of the babies when Tommy's younger brother was born and they all get lost in the woods. Besides all the fun, it also gets very deep sometimes with Tommy learning the value of responsibility and what it means to have a brother.

It was fun to watch kids' movies when I was a kid. But seeing them again as an adult allows me to notice a lot of things that I didn't back in the day.
